Our team carefully evaluates every ingredient to create a list of components that we refuse to include— they don’t make it on our “Vimergy Clean List.” This commitment to safety and efficacy means that if there’s any doubt about an ingredient’s safety, we choose to formulate without it.
1. Titanium Dioxide
Often used to whiten products, titanium dioxide raises safety concerns due to its potentially harmful effects on DNA. The European Union has banned its use in food, leading us to exclude it from our formulations altogether.
2. Artificial Colors
We do not use synthetic colors or dyes, which have been linked to potentially adverse health effects, including disruptions to gut health and its possible carcinogenic properties. If it’s not a natural color, it doesn’t belong in our products.
3. Artificial Preservatives
While preservatives may extend shelf life, many have been associated with negative health outcomes. We skip these unnecessary additives to keep our supplements as simple and clean as possible and use other methods for preventing micros growth.
4. Artificial Sweeteners
Our stance on artificial sweeteners is clear: the potential risks outweigh the benefits. Their impact on gut health and metabolic functions is unclear, so you won’t find them in our products.
5. Hydrogenated Oils
These types of fats, often referred to as “bad fats” are linked to an increased risk of heart disease and other health issues. We prioritize healthy fats and avoid hydrogenated oils in our formulations.
6. Talc and Magnesium Silicate
Due to inconclusive safety studies and potential health risks, we opt for safer alternatives. Our focus is on providing clean, effective supplements without these ingredients.
7. Shellac and Pharmaceutical Glaze
We’re committed to vegan formulations whenever it is possible, which is why we avoid shellac—a coating derived from insect secretions. Pharmaceutical glaze can also contain harmful additives like titanium dioxide, making it a no-go for us.
8. EDTA and Derivatives
While EDTA is sometimes used to treat metal toxicity, its presence in supplements can lead to mineral deficiencies and other health risks. We prioritize safe, effective formulations without this ingredient.
9. Other Artificial Additives
